How CUTE he is!! and what a cute bag,I do not blame him for not wanting to take it off..TY for sharing your pattern :-)
No problem!!! and thx for the compliments on my son... he's a ham!!
That is a handsome boy you have there. And he looks so smart with his new backpack.
Good Job!!!
Thank u
Great pattern, but are you sure it's complete? It seems to start with "MC8" - I've been crocheting for years, and I've never seen that instruction before. And the instructions of round 1 that follow do not seem to relate to whatever "MC 8" might mean.
Yes I'm sure its complete. MC stands for magic circle, its just another way to start a project. This project is started from the bottom and u work your way up. There are many tutorials on youtube on how to do the magic circle. Here's a link here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHYVutk2iYY
Thank u very much... I cant wait for baby #2 in november.
What kind of yarn did you use for this?
I loved the pattern and started making it for my friend's son. In round 2 I got 22 dcs (without counting the ch2). When I proceeded to rd3 I am getting only 27 dcs not counting the ch2. And if you do the counting (i.e. every 4th dc in rd2 gets 2 dcs in rd3 right)it also gives 27 dcs in rd3. Where am I going wrong? Please help me. Thanks.
Priya
Priya, sorry I'm just getting back to you. But it could be a mistake in my counting... If you keep going, I don't think you'll have any problems with the outcome of the bag
Brittany,
Thank-you so much for the great backpack pattern! I've been looking for the perfect pack to make for my three nephews (7, 5, and 3) for Christmas, and this is JUST what I need :-)
You have such a lovely son, and the best of hopes and prayers for you with number 2!
Beth
Thank u!
Your son is so cute. I just love this pattern and I don't blame your son for not wanting to take it off. These are memories he will never forget. Thanks so much for posting.
This bag is to cute, I'm gonna have to try making it.
Is this bag big enough to put school books in?
You mentioned we could sell what we make. I was wondering if that also included online stores.
I'll give oyu full credit for the pattern. It's so cute and your little boy outshines it
what has happened to the pictures that go to this pattern?

This bag is pretty small, I wouldnt put books in it. And yes, you can sell what u make in online shops as long as u give me credit for the pattern and link to my blog :-) Thanks
